Alcyone Sail Training

Thank you for your interest in sailing on the Alcyone. This is
our 21st year of getting youth, families and adults out on the
water in a hands-on, fun-while-you-learn sailing experience.
This year we will be sailing from Port Townsend, Washington,
offering six and twelve day trips as well as custome trips. The
six-day trips will be spent exploring the San Juan Islands. On
our twelve-day trips, we cross the border into Canada, with a
destination of either Desolation Sound or Barkley Sound. We
are offering special rates on family and adult full boat trips for
people who book the trips before February of 2009.

For the 2009 season, if you are interested in a full boat adult
or family trip, and book before February 2009, we can be
flexible with the dates and length of the trip and the rates will
be the same as the 2008 season. In February, I will be
scheduling trips for our youth trips and open booking adult
trips. As trips book I will be filling them in our schedule page.

The open booking adult trip that I know we will do is May
13-18, a six day trip that will include participating in the OLD
Gaffers Race in Sidney, BC.
